Ambra Medda has many strings to her stylish bow. Amongst many other things she is co-founder of Design Miami, trustee of the London Design Museum and a member of the museum's curatorial committee. She established Ambra Medda Office in 2010 in order to work on a range of creative projects. I met Ambra through motherhood- we lived on the same street in West London, drawn together by the connection of having two very young children, very close in age. Her beauty and quirky sense of style belie a strength of personality that allows Ambra to be refreshingly candid about the various experiences of being a mother.
At its worst, motherhood can feel like a competitive business but my conversations on the subject with Ambra have always felt refreshing, supportive and collaborative.
