PRIVACY

Poplin Ltd saves email addresses from correspondence we receive. We also collect information regarding the pages users access and information provided to us by users via surveys and site registrations. Such information may contain personal data including addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers etc. We are not allowed to disclose such personal information without your written permission. However, certain information collected from you and about you is used within the context of providing the service. The information we collect is not shared with or sold to others, except under certain circumstances whereby your use of the service is deemed to provide us with valid consent for disclosure.

This would be in order for us to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Poplin Ltd’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

Poplin Ltd does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, or when we have gained your permission.

We will transfer information about you if Poplin Ltd is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Poplin Ltd will notify you by email or by putting a prominent notice on the Poplin Ltd website before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Poplin Ltd uses the information we collect for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.

When you enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number on our registration form, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here or by means of a notice on our homepage so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

RETURNS POLICY

Please note that all sales of sale items (those displaying a reduced price) and all sales with international shipping are final. No exchange, credit note or refund will be offered against purchases and the conditions set out below will not apply.

If you are unhappy with our products in any way, they can be returned for exchange or refund provided that they are returned to us in unused condition within 7 days of receipt by you.

YOU MUST CONTACT US FOR AUTHORISATION BEFORE RETURNING ANY ITEMS

Email: sales@poplin.co.uk quoting your order number within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

It is your responsibility to cover postage costs for returns/exchanges. You should ensure that your Poplin goods are fully insured as normal proof of posting does not cover goods that are lost or damaged in transit. We recommend the Royal Mail Guaranteed next day delivery service for returns from the UK, which gives adequate insurance cover.

We cannot refund or exchange goods that arrive back damaged or are lost in the post. Please reuse the original packaging, if possible, when returning, or make sure goods are properly packaged to prevent damage. Always obtain proof of posting as claims can then be made against the post office for loss or damage. Items should be returned in their box to:

Items can be exchanged or your card refunded as long as the items are returned in an unworn condition within 7 days of receipt. Shipping fees cannot be refunded.

Returns & exchanges received outside the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. Please be aware any international customs duties and sales taxes incurred will not be refunded.

We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn. 

We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before disposing of any original packaging.

EXCHANGE

Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 7 days of being received by you. Please advise us upon receipt of your purchase if you wish to exchange.

The new item will be shipped to you after the returned item has been received by us and checked.

REFUND

If you wish to receive a refund for returned items, items need to be returned and reach us within 7 days of being received by you. Please note that refunds can take up to 30 days and are subject to regulations. Shipping fees cannot be refunded.

FAULTY GOODS

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. We at Poplin take every effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before sending them out to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when contacting sales@poplin.co.uk about the fault.

Returns of faulty goods must be returned to us within 14 days of being received.

If we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to your card to the value of the item at the time of purchase. Please note that refunds can take up to 30 days and are subject to regulations.
